Richard Hind – Veterinary Surgeon

Joined 1978 BVSc MRCVS Richard qualified in 1978 and spent 15 years working in mixed veterinary practices. Richard has a special interest in eye problems. Away from work he enjoys walking, cycling and helping his son with his small flock of sheep.

Francisco Gomez – Veterinary Surgeon

Joined 2007 CertAVP MRCVS Fran has been a Veterinary Surgeon at Lawrence Veterinary Centre since 2007, with a short break in between whilst living in Norfolk. Helen Sanders – Assistant Practice Manager. RVN.

Joined 1994 Helen started working for Lawrence Veterinary Centre in October 1994 to study as a veterinary nurse and qualified in August 1997. Her main interest is in animal behaviour. Jo Chalkley – Veterinary Surgeon

BVSc MRCVS Joined 2017 Jo graduated from the University of Bristol in 2008. She enjoys small animal medicine and has an interest in diagnostic imaging. At home she is kept busy looking after her 2 young children.

Angie Hardy – Veterinary Surgeon

BVSc MRCVS Joined 2016. Angie joined Lawrence Veterinary centre in December 2016. She graduated from Bristol university in 2000. Her main interests are internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. She is also very keen on pain management and dentistry especially the preventative aspects of it. Outside of work she is kept busy with 3 boys… Read more »

Rhiannon Mullan – Veterinary Surgeon

Rhiannon qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2015 from Nottingham University and joined Lawrence Veterinary Centre in 2018. At home she has three dogs, two cats and two rabbits. She has a particular interest in dermatology and looks forward to meeting all her new patients.

Laura Pearce – Veterinary Surgeon

Laura qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2014 from Nottingham University. Since then Laura has developed  a love for surgery and completed her Surgery Certificate in Oct 2017. Maddie Sutton – Veterinary Surgeon

Madeline is our newly qualified Veterinary Surgeon. She has recently qualified from The Royal Veterinary College in London. Maddie enjoys looking after and competing her Horses in the working hunter class and also enjoys running and travelling. Originally from Canada, she has now settled in Nottinghamshire. Ian Simpson-Eyre – Head Veterinary Nurse

Joined 1996 Ian was made head veterinary nurse in 2017. He has a BVNA certificate in small animal dentistry. He is pro-active and is our first port-of-call with technical problems. At home he enjoys being out with Donna and his two daughters.

Nichola Kosylo – Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse

Joined 2002 Nichola qualified in 2006 as a veterinary nurse. She enjoys doing veterinary nurse clinics. In 2017 Nichola was appointed the position of deputy head nurse. She also assists with the processing of insurance forms. Her two twin boys keep her very busy at home!

Louise Payton – Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse

Joined 2008 Louise has been working for LVC since January 2008 and graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2010. In January of this year, Louise was appointed the position of Deputy Head Nurse. She has an interest in diet clinics and has gained a certificate in canine and feline veterinary health nutrition back in 2015.… Read more »

Joined 2003 Katy has recently been appointed as one of our Senior Veterinary Nurses. She joined the practice in October 2003 and qualified in 2004. Joined 2013 Paige joined our team in 2013 and graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2015. Charlotte Tims – Veterinary Nurse

Joined 2012  Charlotte qualified as an RVN in Nov 2015. She has two cats from the Cats Protection. Charlotte likes both small and large animals and one day would like to specialise in farm animals.

Rebecca Elston – Veterinary Nurse

Joined 2015 Rebecca qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2017. She graduated from Nottingham Trent University. Rebecca carried out her work placements here at LVC, and joined the practice in January 2015. She has an interest in anaesthesia and wound management. Joined 2016 Kirsty qualified as a veterinary nurse in May 2018. Rebecca Cox – Veterinary Nurse

Rebecca joined the practice in September 2018.  At home Rebecca has a variety of animals from snakes to Pacman frogs and axolotl’s.

Jenny Orton – Animal Care Assistant

Jenny has spent the last 5 years working within an emergency practice, caring for many types of patients. Jenny will be our new consulting Assistant, providing help to handle and restrain patients during procedures and to assist the vets with their consults. Natalie Stevenson – Student Veterinary Nurse

Natalie is a first year veterinary nurse student and joined us in January 2018. She is enjoying her course and is particularly interested in emergency cases. At home she has 4 cats and a dog called Pedro.

Holly Barlow – Student Veterinary Nurse

Holly is currently a second year student veterinary nurse at Nottingham Trent University. At home, Holly has two cats and enjoys reading, painting and being outdoors.

Donna Simpson-Eyre – Reception Manager

Joined 2005 Donna is responsible for running Reception. She is married to Ian and has two daughters. She is always smiling and sympathetic to clients. She enjoys outdoor activities with her family.

Sally Zakaria – Receptionist

Joined 2007 Sally enjoys meeting the clients and has a soft spot for puppies! She is fun-loving and always happy. She has two grown up children,  two dogs and two cats – they all keep her very busy!

Stacey Chadwick – Receptionist

Joined 2007 Stacey has been working at Lawrence Veterinary Centre since November 2007 as one of the receptionists. She enjoy most is being on the front desk and interacting with and helping clients and their fur babies. Joined 2013 Jodie has worked at Lawrence Veterinary Centre for 4 and a half years. She originally worked in the Pet Supplies Shop and Grooming Parlour, covering maternity leave and moved to reception in June 2016. Gill Stevens – Receptionist

Joined 2014 Gill works in reception mainly in the morning.  As a Mum to two teenagers and two dogs,  she is kept very busy at home. When she can, she enjoys relaxing with a bit of ‘retail therapy’.

Donna Mace – Receptionist

Debbie Knight – Head Dog Groomer

Debbie is a very experienced groomer, she takes pride in making sure all the animals look great before they leave. Outside of work Debbie shares a passion for all things equestrian. She has 2 sons and a poodle cross called Maggie.

Sheila joined us in Spring 2010, bringing with her 21 years of grooming experience, she likes all breeds of dogs and enjoys clipping a variety of coats and styles. Becky Pike – Dog Groomer

Becky joined our grooming parlour in 2016. She has a soft spot for large breeds and at home has a Eurasia puppy called Ghost.

Veronica Annable – Delivery Driver

Joined 2007 Veronica is our delivery driver. You will often see her out delivering food and medication to our clients. Veronica is a ray of sunlight at work and likes to make other people smile. She has a Bernese mountain dog and likes nothing more than the great outdoors.

Coral Chadwick – Cleaner

Joined 2018 Coral has recently joined our team as the practice cleaner. She is always smiling and has been visiting Lawrence Veterinary Centre with her animals for years, including dogs, ferrets and a tortoise!
